Origin of Name: 'Aralath' was a name I made up. It just seemed cute. 'Albatross' was added by her daddy, my boyfriend Kamil... I'm not sure why.
Description: Ara is an agouti berkshire girl, with the cutest white splotches on her belly.
Origin: Aralath came from Denise at Trinity Rodents.
Ara is from one of several accidental litters that Denise had with in January 2010. She was adopted with her 'sister' Morgwynn, who was from a slightly older litter. She's a very sweet girl, with just the cutest white tail tip. From the first moment I met Ara, I knew I had to have her. She's my first agouti girl, and she's just beautiful.
Ara enjoys human company much more than Morgwynn. She will quite happily run to me for a snuggle. She is a very licky girl and will sit on my hand, licking my wrist.
Ara grows more beautiful the older she gets - she does look a bit funny though. She loves her wheel and spends so much time in it, her tail curls up into a ring permanently. I've started calling her my Ring-Tailed Possum. She's now living in a happy mischief of all five girls and Spyro.
Cuddles
Aralath loves to snuggle. She is my little sweetie pie. One day in particular, I was reading a book, lying on my bed. The small fuzz were freeranging, and Ara crawled into my hand. She curled her little self up, snuggled into my palm, and went to sleep. Meanwhile... her cagemates went on rampaging and causing trouble! Aralath is my favourite rat for just hanging out with. So calm!
Ara the Sewer Rat
Aralath is a funny little girl. Her newest trick is mobbing me in the shower. She pounces on my foot and licks my ankle. She doesn't mind getting wet at all, and always finishes looking like a little sewer rat.
