Name: RTS Duke Nomaree Beeblebrox
Sex: Male
Date of Birth: February 15th 2010.
Nicknames: Nom, Nomnom, Nommers, Nommynum.
Origin of Name: The entire reason Nom got his name is so I can kiss his belly and say "Nom nom nom" while doing it. 'Beeblebrox', of course, is after Zaphod Beeblebrox from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Description: Nomaree is an agouti hooded downunder.
Origin: Nom came from Sue of Ratscape Rattery in Brisbane.
Nomaree was flown to me from Brisbane, making he and his cagemate Sullivan the most expensive rats I've ever bought. He is much calmer than Sully, but he likes to have a sniff around too. He's a very sweet boy, and his coloured tummy is just adorable. He loves sunflower seeds and keeps picking them out of the dry mix.
Nom and Sully exploded in size while I was on vacation in America. I came home to these giant boys, not the little fellas I left behind. Nom is the shy one, and he's growing into quite the lazy buck.

Nom's First Show
Nomaree and I went to our first show in June 2010. Nomaree was the only one in his class (downunder hooded) and thus placed first. Technically he should have been a downunder hooded spotted, but we were allowed the mistake because it was our first show! Looking forward to the next one, I think the boys really enjoyed the day.

Cheeky face!
